Dacia Christin has Master’s degrees in German Literature and Public Health. She has worked as a teacher, translator, health research coordinator and with victims of violence. The physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of yoga have been a guiding force in her life since 1996. In 2011 she became a certified yoga instructor. She is certified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin, and has also studied other styles such as Iyengar, Ashtanga and Anusara.
Having spent more than half of her life abroad, yoga provides Dacia with a sense of home and stability, wherever she finds herself. She has studied Tibetan Buddhism since 2012 and often combines aspects of Buddhist mind training and philosophy in her yoga classes. She has been particularly inspired by Sara Powers and the teachers of the Himalayan Institute, where she lived in the summer of 2012 and continues her studies online.
In 2017 she discovered the beauty and depth of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage with Ananta Girard Silvain, a talented bodyworker and teacher. She loves the energy of giving and receiving this holistic massage. She completed her initial certification in 2017 and continued training in 2018.
